Position: Research fellow
Dr. Antonio Tulone is currently a research fellow at the University of Palermo, where he also obtained the Ph.D. in Agricultural, Forestry, Environmental, and Food Sciences. His doctoral thesis explored the willingness of coastal communities to contribute financially to climate change mitigation in the fishing industry.
Dr. Tulone has a background in teaching agricultural science and technology at various high schools and has significantly enhanced his expertise in the agri-food sector by acquiring multiple certifications in ISO standards and food safety protocols.
His research focuses on the impacts of climate change on agriculture and marine ecosystems, sustainable agricultural practices, and food security. He has published extensively on these topics in various articles and conference papers. Furthermore, during his research career, he was hosted as a scholarship fellow by the Geneva School of Economics and Management.
