Scientific/technological impact
The project provides a significant scientific contribution in the field of open innovation in strategic agri-food sectors through the adoption of a systemic, multidisciplinary bottom-up approach. It will result in a wider significant deep knowledge and understanding on:
- Management skills, competences and strategies adopted by companies which implemented BCT.
- Entrepreneurs propensity to implement BCT as a effective tool for offering greater guarantees to external stakeholders.
- Consumer response and interest toward the BCT.
- Implementation of smart contracts within systems of governance consolidated and defined in selected chains by eliminating critical issues arising in GDPR compliance and deriving from privacy issues.
- Definition of new e-agricultural extension services that can improve literacy, knowledge transfer and trust of farmers.
