Network

The WE-BEST project network consists of the group of project partners (The University of Foggia; The Polytechnic University of Marche; The University of Palermo; The University of Cagliari; and The University of Naples Federico II), external research units and other entities actively involved in the project and enriching positive impact of this project through their notable contribution as in the research as well as in the practical application of results.

UNIMOL was founded in 1982. The University helps the development and economic growth of the region by strengthening relations with local institutions and businesses by promoting research and technology transfer projects. It also engages in participation in funding programs both in European and international research and in Italian funding programs. Finally, scientific research creates competition and employment outlets. The University is organized into six departments. The Department of Biosciences and Territory is involved, through Professor Remo Pareschi, in the WE BEST project as the external unit of the University of Cagliari. It is located on three sites (Pesche (IS), Campobasso, and Termoli (CB)). It comprises faculty, researchers, students, and technicians specializing in ecological-environmental, biological, computer science, engineering, and architecture disciplines.
