Position: Research fellow
Dr. Nino Adamashvili is currently a research fellow at the University of Palermo (UNIPA) and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Foggia (UNIFG) in "Big Data Analytics Tools for Enhancing Decision-Making in Agri-Food Supply Chains." Nino has collaborated on international, national, and regional projects (H2020, Erasmus+, PRIN, etc.), with a focus on sustainable development and blockchain technology in wine and extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) supply chains. Nino's work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Most Impactful Paper Award 2024 from Sage Publications, and the Best Student Paper Award at the 2022 EuroMed Conference.
Nino has also been the recipient of multiple fellowships and scholarships, such as the Sara Lab Scholarship for an ERASMUS+ traineeship at the University of Luxembourg, the University of Foggia Ph.D. Scholarship, and grants from the Apulia Region, the Italian Ministry of Education (I@UNITO fellowship), and Erasmus Mundus for research and study periods at prestigious Italian universities. Nino has participated in numerous international conferences as a presenter, chair, and member of scientific or organizing committees and has published extensively in high-impact journals (Scopus: 14 publications, h-index 9; WoS: 12 publications, h-index 7).
