W.E. B.E.S.T Prin project announces the CALL FOR PAPERS for the second edition of the Special Issue in the

Open Access journal “Computers” (MDPI; ISSN: 2073-431X, CiteScore 5.4, IF 2.6):

“Blockchain Technology – a Breakthrough Innovation for Modern Industries”

Building on the success of the first edition, Ph.D. Dr. Nino Adamashvili (University of Palermo), Prof. Caterina Tricase (University of Foggia, Italy), and Dr. Roberto Tonelli (University of Cagliari, Italy), together with international partner from the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg) – Prof. Radu State, are launching the second edition of the Special Issue entitled “Blockchain Technology – a Breakthrough Innovation for Modern Industries (2nd Edition)”for an Open Access Journal “Computers” (MDPI; ISSN: 2073-431X, CiteScore 5.4, IF 2.6) to further explore the transformative potential of blockchain technology across modern industries.

You are welcome to submit a full review or an original research article on the topic.

The submission deadline is 20 September 2025. Papers may be submitted immediately or at any point until the deadline as papers will be published on an ongoing basis.

The journal is fully open access indexed within Scopus, ESCI (Web of Science), dblp, Inspec, and other databases.

The Article Processing Charge is 1800 CHF per accepted paper.
Authors affiliated with participating universities receive a discount on the APC.
