W.E. B.E.S.T. took part in the conference on applications of Blockchain technology in the wine sector “The Forum Blockchain in the Wine Industry”

In the frame of the W.E. B.E.S.T. project, Prof. Antonino Galati with the Prof. Mariantonietta Fiore and Dr. Nino Adamashvili has participated in the conference on applications of Blockchain technology in the wine sector entitled as “The Forum Blockchain in the Wine Industry” organized by Professorship for International Marketing Management held in the Hochschule Geisenheim University, Germany on July 15, 2022.
The forum presented existing and real-world blockchain applications from cultivation to marketing, as well as scientific research results. Thus, it brought together companies and stakeholders from the wine industry, innovators and academia and served as a networking event to exchange ideas, concepts and applications of Blockchain technology.
Dr. Nino Adamashvili has presented the work entitled as “Blockchain in the Italian wine industry” focusing on the factors favoring the adoption of BCT in the wine industry and discussing the cases of Italian wineries.
